Things to keep off your altar.

        1. Dusters <And all other symbols of drudgery>.
        2. Ash tray, beer bottles < and all other symbols of self
           poisoning>.
        3. Bills and other paper work, half-finished letters to
           Auntie Mabel telling her, "Yes, I'm still going to
           communion once a week <and other symbols of deception>.
        4. Hand cuffs, bondage clothing <and all other symbols of
           slavery>.
        5. All forms of weapons from machine guns to bread knifes
           <the Athame is general/never a weapon>.
        6. and anything else that is life-denying, self denying,
           or simply not specifically intended by you to be a part of
           your altar decoration. Yes, that includes you - the pets -
           remove them right away and keep them away!
